- XR 4?
This is ‘Greg’. He’s the ever faithful dogsbodymobile!
He’s a 1988 XF Falcon Ute with a 250 crossflow and auto gearbox.
He’s not in bad condition for his age concidering in ‘car years’ he’s getting awfully close to retirement!
If you see us chugging about, give us a toot or a wave ….

- F-025?
As you can see he’s got a few battle scars from a hard working life, but he’s also proof that you dont need a brand new expensive one – that the bank owns – to get the job done.
Sometimes, I believe, the older things (with a bit of spit n polish) can be just a good if not better.

The Nerve Centre
Occasionaly a request comes along for something a little different.
The brief was to build a computer server cupboard that had wired in cooling fans and enough space to also use as I.T storage (i.e; dumping ground for busted computer bits n pieces!)
When finished and installed it was 1.8 meters high x 1.2 meters long x .9meters deep with 6 cooling fans and an extra 4 vents!
Just what this busy office required to meet their OH&S needs.

Little Buxom Beauty
At General Dogsbody we pride our selves on still tackling the small jobs that some of the big boys are not interested in. Here we had a simple job of tidying up this Buxom Hedge to impress some family coming for Christmas.

Tamed the wild woods

It's a jungle out there!
This area was pretty unusable as it was and with a new addition to the family this space was going to be in need. Now its a great little area for play and creativity.

Squeezy!
Yep, more sheds (it’s becoming a habit!!). This is one of those ones you get from Bunnings or Harvey Norman for $200 ish. Dont be fooled though because even as they are cheap to buy they are also very labour intensive to assemble – allow a good 2 hours just to assemble all the bits! With this one I have once again built a plinth as to gain a level base. As you can see from this pic there was not a lot of room to spare!

Before

After
This is an old shed in my backyard. Its been here forever (well 15 odd years anyway) so I thought I’d try something different by way of ‘renovating’ it. The shed is now known as the cottage.
I used some old fence pailings for the ‘weatherboards’ and some windows and a door that were destined for the tip.

I have salvaged an old outdoor light and made it into a solar powered lamp to give it a welcoming effect at night! It now creates an interesting focal point at the top of the yard.

Man Space?!

Wasted Space...
Every one needs a shed, no matter what size. Many awesome creations have been born in ‘em and much blood has been spilt in ‘em!! I have built a plinth here to put this one on as the back yard was’nt really level. Shed. Aussie. Bewdiful!

Window no more!
The white primed weatherboards you see in this pic we installed after the owners had some fantastic reno’s done inside and the existing bedroom window was removed leaving a rather breezy hole. ‘General Dogsbody’ to the rescue and no more cold shivers during the night! After the boards were painted to match the rest of the house it looked as though they had always been there. Happy Home Owners!!

- From ‘Drabulous’ to ‘Fabulous’ !
The small wall in this picture is made from a product call ‘Tasman Retaining Wall Blocks’ and the colour is ‘Limestone’.
Now that this area is filled and planted it is amass with colour and creates a beautiful backdrop for a dreary old concrete wall.
